About Us

Hot Goblin Events Ltd is owned and run by Christopher Blyth & Julie Blyth.  Christopher is the main chef and Julie sorts the day to day administration.

Christopher is a Leith’s trained chef.  Prior to starting the Hot Goblin Events Ltd location catering business Chris spent several years running restaurants and cooking in music studios.

Chris’s background in high quality cuisine is important as it means the Hot Goblin Events Ltd team never lose sight that everything is to be made fresh, taste good and look appetising.  Food has to be prepared and cooked in varied and sometimes unusual locations but that never gets in the way of producing quality meals.

We have produced high quality food all across the UK and on occasions in  Europe. We have cooked and served food on top of the Snowdonia Peaks, Channel Tunnel platforms,  stately homes, London Underground platforms, car parks, beaches, the top of the Cairngorms mountains in the Scottish Highlands, and the list is endless!

All our chefs are qualified, have good working experience and have been with us for a long time.  Everyone on the productions gets to know our hard working, friendly chefs – Justin, Adam, George, Ben, Paul and of course our other George who we have given the title of “CEO of Omelettes”! All our chefs are qualified in Health and Hygiene minimum level 2.

We are also up to date on the following topics as most production companies need some of these prior to us starting a job.

  • Members of NCASS – Nationwide Caterers Association
  • Full Electrical Certificates
  • Full Gas Certificates
  • Full Public Liability Insurance
  • Health & Safety Policy
  • Local Council Hygiene Inspection Certificate
  • First Aid Certificates
  • NCASS Safe Use of Gas
  • Fire Extinguisher Safety
  • Full Vehicle Insurance
  • Covid-19 Safety Procedures
  • Individual Health & Hygiene Certificates
  • Understanding Allegens Certificates

We are on various Production Companies Approved Caterers lists and also on First Option Safety Consultants list.
